Corporate Branding | Art Direction | Publishing
Overview:
I design a wide range of printed materials that support branding, outreach, and communications efforts. These include postcards, one-pagers, white papers, reports, brochures, books, and other marketing collateral. My work combines strategic layout, strong typography, and a keen understanding of how content flows across formats—while always maintaining brand consistency.
My Role:
I serve as both designer and production lead, overseeing layout design and preparing press-ready files. I ensure every piece meets visual and functional goals, from concept through print delivery. I collaborate with writers, editors, and stakeholders to ensure content is clear and audience-focused.
Challenges & Approach:
Print work requires precise attention to detail and coordination with production vendors. I’m experienced in working with both digital and offset printers and have attended press checks to ensure color accuracy and print quality. I carefully manage file prep, paper selection, and production specs to avoid costly errors and ensure a polished final product.
Outcome & Impact:
My print materials have supported program outreach, client engagement, and organizational visibility. They’re frequently praised for being easy to navigate, well-organized, and visually consistent with broader brand initiatives. Many, such as Think Creative magazine, have become staple communications tools for internal and external use.
Relevance to AKF Role:
AKF produces a range of print materials to support education, advocacy, and development. My hands-on experience designing print products from start to finish—including managing print production—would be an immediate asset. I bring both creative vision and technical accuracy to ensure every piece is aligned with the organization's goals and brand standards.
